This Privacy Policy describes how your personal information is collected, used, and shared when you visit or make a purchase from www.littleskandi.com (the “Site”).

When you make a purchase or attempt to make a purchase through the Site, engage with the Site (via a newsletter, user registration, other subscription, contact with the Site, or similar) we collect certain information from you, including your name, billing address, shipping address, payment information (including – when applicable – credit card numbers, Google Pay, Apple Pay, Shop Pay), email address, and phone number (depending on the interaction type). _session_id, unique token, sessional, Allows Shopify to store information about your session (referrer, landing page, etc).
_shopify_visit, no data held, Persistent for 30 minutes from the last visit, Used by our website provider’s internal stats tracker to record the number of visits
_shopify_uniq, no data held, expires midnight (relative to the visitor) of the next day, Counts the number of visits to a store by a single customer.
cart, unique token, persistent for 2 weeks, Stores information about the contents of your cart.
_secure_session_id, unique token, sessional
storefront_digest, unique token, indefinite If the shop has a password, this is used to determine if the current visitor has access.

CONSENT & INFORMATION USE

We wish to minimise the data we collect, with use and purpose limited to the following:

  • Order fulfilment: any orders placed through the Site (including processing your payment information, arranging for shipping, and providing you with invoices and/or order confirmations).
  • Communications with you;
  • Screen our orders for potential risk or fraud; and
  • When in line with the preferences you have shared with us, provide you with information or advertising relating to our products or services.
  • Deliver improvements and optimisations on the Site (for example, by generating analytics about how our customers browse and interact with the Site, and to assess the success of our marketing and advertising campaigns – this helps us analyse which products are most relevant to you).

DATA RETENTION

When you place an order through the Site, we will maintain your Order Information for our records unless and until you ask us to delete this information. If you are a European resident, you have the right to access personal information we hold about you and to ask that your personal information be corrected, updated, or deleted. If you would like to exercise this right, please contact us through the contact information below. Additionally, if you are a European resident, we note that we are processing your information in order to fulfil contracts we might have with you (for example if you make an order through the Site), or otherwise to pursue our legitimate business interests listed above. 

We reserve the right in certain cases where there may be reasons why your data cannot be deleted immediately – for example where you have entered into a contract with the Site and the information is necessary for the maintenance and completion of that contract.

We use Shopify as our primary web platform system. Additional data processors we work with include Shopify Apps and Google Analytics.

Fulfilment and courier companies acting as a processors based in the UK who receive your personal data to fulfil your order.

Finally, we may also share your Personal Information to comply with applicable laws and regulations, to respond to a subpoena, search warrant or other lawful request for information we receive, or to otherwise protect our rights and/or if you violate our Terms of Service.
